Among the most anticipated moments of the 2020 Global Conference was a conversation between 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and 11-year-old Teach For Nigeria student Chidinma Oraegbunam. During the discussion, Malala reflected on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on students in marginalized communities, and highlighted the additional obstacles girls are facing in continuing to learn.
