Teach For Armenia Co-hosts the 2019 Teach For All Global Conference October 21-23
On Monday, October 21, more than 450 members of Teach For All's global community with gather in Yerevan, Armenia for the 2019 Teach For All Global Conference. Co-hosted by Teach For Armenia, the conference will convene staff, alumni, students, supporters, and board members from over 50 countries to consider the question "How can we prepare students to shape a changing world?"
Throughout the three-day event, attendees will explore ideas and practices for developing students as leaders who can navigate and shape an ever-changing world, and discuss how to bring this global knowledge into their work with local communities. Through plenaries, workshops, and discussions with a diverse group of practioners from within and beyond the Teach For All network, and by visiting schools and communities in which Teach For Armenia works, conference participants will consider together how to support students to develop as global citizens who contribute to creating a more inclusive, sustainable, and peaceful world. Alongside students, staff, teachers, and alumni from across our global network, scheduled speakers include the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan; Global Teacher Prize Winner, Peter Tabichi; and European Commission Director General for Education, Themis Christophidou.
