Isabel Peñaherrera is the CEO of Enseña Ecuador. Her career has focused on closing gaps in educational opportunity through innovation, from serving as a classroom teacher and teacher trainer to leading corporate social responsibility initiatives and managing large-scale public-private projects focused on educational technology solutions at the K-12 and higher education levels.

Through work experience at companies like ESRI, Microsoft, DHL, Grupo Editorial Norma, and OCP Ecuador, Isabel has developed expertise in areas such as development of 21st-century skills, digital competencies, STEAM, hybrid learning, digital literacy, and gender inclusion in technology. Along with this expertise, she has worked at the intersection of education, philanthropy, government relations, and strategic partnerships, both within Ecuador and across multiple countries in Latin America.

Isabel holds a bachelor’s degree in educational sciences and a master's degree in educational technologies and digital competencies.
