Amina Khamzatova
My name is Khamzatova Amina. I am 17 years old and I am from Kazakhstan. I live in a small town near Karaganda called Abay. I am a senior high school student, and I plan to enter university with a major in IT. At the same time, I am interested in developing leadership and business skills.
I was a FLEX semi-finalist for the 2024-2025 academic year. Although I did not become a finalist, this experience gave me valuable opportunities, especially in developing communication skills. I also took part in the “Turn It Around” project, where I presented my drawing representing climate issues in my country sharing my concerns about environmental problems through creativity and activism.
The SLAC is an important component for helping younger students share their ideas and solutions. Since Teach For All also focuses on developing leadership skills, SLAC would be extremely valuable. I believe this is a meaningful way to make my voice heard.
