Highlights From the 2021 Teach For All Global Conference
In October 2021, nearly 2,000 members of Teach For All's global community from more than 65 countries gathered to reflect on what we’ve learned from the challenges of the past 18 months and explore the question What leadership do we need now? to create a more equitable and inclusive world.
Over the course of four days, staff members, teachers, alumni, students and allies from across the network participated in dozens of sessions alongside global thought leaders, including Indonesia’s Minister of Education, Nadiem Makarim; the OECD’s Director of Education and Skills, Andreas Schleicher; author and journalist Amanda Ripley; and Global Teach Prize Winners Ranjitsinh Disale and Hanan Al Hroub. Equally inspiring were presentations and discussions led by members of our network, including our annual Network Breakthroughs and two powerful panels (A & B) of alumni leaders who shared their perspectives on the leadership we need to rise to the challenges of our changing world.
