Rabia Haidari
I am Rabia Haidari, an 18-year-old A-Level student from Parwan, Afghanistan, with a strong commitment to education and community empowerment. I am deeply passionate about expanding access to learning and creating meaningful educational opportunities for both myself and those around me.
In January 2024, I founded Education RASA, an educational organization dedicated to supporting academic and personal development. Through this organization, I lead a team of 50 committed members, and together we have reached more than 50,000 people and directly supported over 500 students through short-term courses in leadership, self-awareness, languages, computer skills, mathematics, and chemistry. We have also organized book clubs, seminars, and workshops that promote a culture of learning, confidence, and growth.
In addition to this work, I serve as the Lead for Student Leadership at Teach For Afghanistan, a community that first empowered me and continues to shape my commitment to educational equity and youth leadership.
In 2025, I was selected as a Top 50 finalist for the Global Student Prize, becoming the first Afghan girl to reach this stage. This recognition brought global attention to my work and reinforced my commitment to using education as a tool for positive change.
I remain dedicated to contributing to the development of my community through inclusive, impactful, and student-centered educational initiatives.
