Across the network, we seek to understand the progress and impact we’re contributing to in the communities we work with for all children and the ways in which we’re influencing the broader education ecosystem. Communities’ perspectives are central to both understand needs and the type of progress we should aim for but also whether we’re seeing evidence of progress. How can we better understand communities’ perspectives and needs? How can we better understand what progress is happening and the role we’ve played in achieving that progress?

In this session, attendees explored the different approaches and strategies we can take to understand communities perspectives and impact, engaging with examples from partners across the network. They also learned about Teach For Malaysia’s approach to understanding key questions in different school communities, their impact in specific regions, and enabling factors.
