Charlotte Iraguha Nsengiyumva
Teach For Uganda’s Co-founder and Chief of Programs, Charlotte I. Nsengiyumva, has over five years of youth development experience. Upon completing university, she worked as a high school teacher for two years before joining Educate! where she worked in various capacities as a Mentor, Program Coordinator, Innovations Manager, and Design and Training Manager. During her tenure at Educate! Charlotte worked with the National Curriculum Development Center (NCDC) to incorporate Educate!'s social entrepreneurship curriculum into Uganda’s National Entrepreneurship curriculum which is now impacting over 10,000 students across the country. She has designed and conducted entrepreneurship trainings for over 100 Ugandan young people, and in her role as Innovations Manager, she helped improve Educate!'s model to make it scalable across Africa. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education from Bugema University.
