Beatriz began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Spain before moving to the Tax department and specializing in financial services. In 1998 she joined PwC London as a senior tax manager at the firm’s International Structuring department. At the end 2004 Beatriz joined Barclays Spain as Head of Tax until 2011 when she was appointed Head of Citizenship for Barclays Europe & UE. In 2015 Beatriz was appointed Head of Corporate Social Responsibililty at the Spanish Banking Association and Chairman of the Financial Education Group at the European Banking Federation, where she remained until she joined Empieza por Educar as CEO in 2019.  Beatriz also teaches a university course on Sustainability and Corporate Governance.
