Empieza por Educar alumnus Quim Sabria is the co-founder and CEO of EDpuzzle, a video-lesson platform that enables teachers to create engaging videos for their lessons through a combination of simple video-editing tools and powerful analytics which help them to track their students' progress. Through EDpuzzle teachers can turn any video into an engaging and effective lesson with just a few clicks and then always know which students understand that lesson and who needs help, thanks to insights the platform gathers as students use it.

Since its launch in 2013, EdPuzzle has been used by millions of students and teachers in over 150 countries. In the United States, EdPuzzle is used in 80% of schools, making it the largest crowd-sourced video lesson platform in K-12 education. 

"My experience teaching with Empieza por Educar, gave me the opportunity to experience how difficult it is to be a teacher," Quim explains. "It was a huge challenge, and it also provided me with the perfect opportunity to experiment and explore new solutions for how to engage my students, and help them to learn effectively. This is how I started to develop my idea for EDpuzzle as a tool to engage my learners."
