Teach For Bangladesh alumnus Arnob Saha: Working to ensure more youth are ready for work
Publication date
As a teacher in a low-income community in Dhaka, Teach For Bangladesh alumnus Arnob K. Saha got to know his students and their families, which opened his eyes to the many factors that impact the employability of young people in Bangladesh. He began to explore the causes of youth unemployment, and discovered that many high school students and even college graduates lacked the soft skills sought after by local employers. Arnob now works for the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center where he trains high school and university students of diverse backgrounds in a variety of areas—from negotiation and presentation skills to problem-solving and how to collaborate effectively.
