Teach For India alumnus Madhukar Banuri founded Leadership For Equity (LFE) with a mission to practice and build leadership rooted in radically changing public education systems in India. LFE works with multiple education stakeholders, including municipal administrators, corporate leaders, NGOs and school teams, to support them in providing and scaling quality education. In Maharashtra, LFE runs training programs for 40,000 education officers, who oversee local school systems, to develop their leadership and in turn improve results for students.
