In the US, Reyna Montoya is helping undocumented young people tranform fear into hope and action
In this powerful video, Reyna Montoya, founder and CEO of Aliento, shares her journey as a former Teach For America corps member and her work with the immigrant community in the United States. Through Aliento, Reyna helps undocumented youth and children of undocumented parents cope with the anxiety and trauma of living in uncertainty. By using art as a healing tool, and leadership development to empower young people, Aliento transforms fear into hope and action. Reyna reminds us of the resilience and potential of marginalized communities and the importance of giving them the platform to use their voice.
